Sign up for Mode Agent. Every account will include access to the affiliate program, no separate signup required.

Enable the program

When it launches, you will turn on the affiliate program from your account settings and your unique referral link is generated automatically.

Share Mode Agent

Promote the Agent to your audience through content, newsletters, communities, or wherever makes sense for you.

Earn

When someone subscribes through your link, you will earn 5% of their net revenue each month for 12 months.

Common questions

What counts as net revenue?
Net revenue is the amount Mode collects from a subscriber after payment processing fees and any refunds. Your 5% is calculated on this figure, not the gross plan price.
What happens if a referred customer upgrades their plan?
Your commission grows with them. You earn 5% on whatever they pay each month, for the full 12-month window. If they upgrade to a higher plan two months in, your earnings reflect the higher plan from that point forward.
What happens if a referred customer cancels?
Your earnings stop when their subscription ends. There are no clawbacks on commissions already paid, you keep what you've earned.
Do I need to use Mode Agent to be an affiliate?
You need a Mode account to access the affiliate program, your referral link lives in your account settings. Using the Agent yourself also makes your recommendations more credible and produces better results.
Where do I find my referral link?
Once you enable the affiliate program in your account settings, your unique referral link is available there. Anyone who signs up through that link within 30 days is attributed to you.
Is there a limit to how much I can earn?
No cap. You earn 5% on every referred customer for 12 months, regardless of how many customers you refer or how much they pay.
Are there restrictions on how I promote Mode Agent?
Standard restrictions apply. No spam, no misleading claims, no paid search ads bidding on Mode brand terms, and no incentivized signups (offering cash or discounts to people who subscribe through your link). Honest promotion to a relevant audience is what we're looking for.
What do I need to submit before my first payout?
We require a completed W-9 (US affiliates) or W-8BEN (international affiliates) before processing any payment. You'll be asked to submit this when your balance approaches the payout threshold.
